fabrication and art direction: I constructed a moveable sculpture from found objects: wire, tiny mirrors, part of a lamp, a tiny glass jar, and a glass paperweight. built as a practical prop for a series of stop motion animations, the device becomes the viewing apparatus of an alien scientist studying beauty on earth. this invented technology was a commission for spoken-word artist liza kwaller.
