art direction and fabrication:
for the single release of sophia boro’s digable baby, i shot a series of photographs and short-form videos. a housewife suffering from “the blues” seems to drench the setting, costume and props in blue. a long sheet of coupons spills out for an endless task of clipping while a repeated ritual of blue pill popping pushes the series toward the comically absurd. I sourced the 1950s costume, altered the coupon sheets, and hand-painted props.
