art direction and fabrication: a stop-motion series, “Three terrible DeathS,” made for music artist sophia boro, features a pepto-bismol-pink world I designed to represent lost tastebuds. the costume, furniture, floors and walls were deliberately painted in a bland monochromatic palette. in “death by bad taste,” an enormous fork and spoon turn a domestic scene into a surreal doll house tableau, punctuated by yellow lemons.
