art direction and fabrication: I constructed an outdoor set featuring a handmade wire sculpture designed to look nearly invisible by daylight. as night fell, lamps illuminated the scene and participants gradually filled the sculpture with red fruit from the bowl installed on the set. a wooden frame around the sculpture, found objects, and the existing landscape created the illusion of a painting that participants could step inside and alter, while uncovering hidden props.
