FABRICATION: within a world of oranges, I assembled FOUND OBJECTS INTO FICTIONAL JUICING MACHINERY for a micro stop-motion animation. For the accompanying photography series, I HAND-PAINTED oranges and peels to use as 3D collage material. they formed real-life still lifes that read as abstract paintings.

fabrication: fabric shapes hand-painted in shades of red were assembled into a moving collage. The color of both pain and pleasure, red becomes the story in wheel: a band-aid box and a hand-lettered ”OUCH” sign is paired with the found sounds of celebratory whistling and arcade games.
