FABRICATION and art direction: i sculpted a series of ears from soap and clay. the soap ears were designed to dissolve, while The clay ears were fired, painted gold, and treated as permanent valuables. I staged the ears in a bathroom and alongside a vintage telephone, turning familiar domestic scenes into surreal environments. photos and essay appear in hamam magazine issue no. 5 “STRANGE”.
